Obituary of Barbara F. Monahan

Barbara F. (Barton) Monahan, age 93 formerly of Browns Mills, NJ and Desert Hot Springs, CA passed away on April 4, 2024..

She graduated from Union Hill High School in 1949. Barbara was a bookkeeper for many years.                                                                                                                                                                                

Barbara married the love of her life Robert on September 6, 1952. Barbara was the beloved wife of Robert, mother, and grandmother.  She was involved with the Grandview Ladies Aux Fire Dept in Fairview, the PTA and the Girl Scouts. Enjoyed traveling with her husband across the United States for 5 years and liked to partake in the many activities that were available in the communities that she visited or lived in.

Preceded in death by her parents G. Gerard and Charlotte Barton, her brother G. Gerard Barton Jr. and sister Patricia Dressler, and her husband Robert of 66 years.

She is survived by her daughters Cathleen, her husband Richard Porter, Sharon Minervini, sister Doris Heimerle, 2 grandsons Robert and Richard Porter Jr., Nieces and Nephews
